As a Director at ButcherJoseph, Tristan advises clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged ESOP buyout transactions, and recapitalizations. Tristan is particularly focused on ownership succession transactions for founder and family-owned business and has advised on over $2bn in transaction value across several industries.
As an advocate for broad based employee ownership, Tristan is active in the employee ownership community as a member of National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and The ESOP Association (TEA). Tristan serves on the Finance Advisory Committee for TEA.
Tristan was named an Investment Banker to Watch by Middle Market Growth in 2023. He was recognized as an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor and graduated from ACG St. Louis “Emerging 20” in 2022, a leadership development program for professionals in the M&A community.
Tristan joined ButcherJoseph after graduating from Harvard College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was a four-year member of the football team.
