As a Director at ButcherJoseph, Robert advises clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged ESOP buyout transactions, and recapitalizations. With over a decade of experience, Robert has been instrumental in advising a diverse array of privately held businesses.

Since joining ButcherJoseph in 2012, Robert has played a pivotal role in executing complex transactions across various industries, including business services, distribution, consumer goods, government services, industrials, construction & real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation & logistics, and hospitality. His expertise in structuring and negotiating deals has consistently delivered optimal outcomes for clients, whether transitioning ownership to employees or navigating sales to strategic and financial buyers.

Robert's commitment to excellence has been recognized industry wide. In 2017, he was honored with The M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Award, distinguishing him among the top young professionals in the M&A sector.

Prior to his tenure at ButcherJoseph, Robert began his investment banking career at Société Générale in Paris, focusing on the consumer, retail, and luxury M&A group. There, he gained experience in cross-border M&A advisory engagements forboth publicly listed and privately held companies.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics and International Studies from the University of Chicago. He also earned an international diploma from Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (“SciencesPo”), further enriching his global perspective on finance and economics.
