David Pawlan is the co-founder of Aloa.co, a tech startup focused on making software development seamless and accessible for anyone. Having graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2019, David is a part of Aloa's five-person co-founding team, including Dawei Li, during their college years.
Since its founding in 2018, Aloa has experienced 2 to 3 times year-on-year growth rates, turning it into a 7-figure annual business. As an advocate for building digital teams, David lives the digital nomad life, currently working remote from South America and learning Spanish.
In addition to his Aloa portfolio, David is also the co-Founder of Fifth Star Funds, a venture philanthropy fund focused on bridging the funding gap faced by Black founders in Chicago, as well as a Partner at Bracketology, the world's first centralized platform for reality TV fantasy gaming.
David's mantra is to fall in love with the problem, not the solution.
